2015 C-class
Latest and the greatest from Mercedes-Benz; 2015 C-300 4matic. Promises were big, and so is delivery. Bigger, smarter, smoother, more powerful, less apetite for gasoline, refinement and upscale options are just some of the attributes associated with all-new C-class.
Yes, it is bigger than it's predecesor for almost 4 inches (that's big in this car segment)
2014 C-250 180.8 inches
2015 C-300 184.5 inches
and it is also taller (1/2 inch), but lighter (about 200 lb), trunk went from 12.4 cu. ft to 17 cu. ft. Quite an achievement. To add icing on a cake, car has better fuel economy (3 mpg in the city) with stronger engine;
2014 C-250 201 hp-229 lb-ft torque
2015 C-300 241 hp-273 lb-ft torque
So, less weight, more muscle.....it looks like the C-class spend some time at the gym :-)
Yes, the vehicle is leaner as well. 2015 C-300 4matic now offers few setting of the suspension; Comfort, Sport, Sport plus, Individual.....and if this is not enough, fancy and famous Airmatic is available. This is the first time that C-class is offered with such upscale option. This fact alone should be a proof that new C is the son of S-class. Heritage of S-class doesn't stop there. Air balance package, new and improved Drivers Assistance Package; Pre-Safe break with pedestian recognition , Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist, Distronic plus with steering assist, and that would be it. This is all the fun with packaged options. Other upscale options are; 8.4" tablet style screen, touchpad, In-car WiFi hotspot, Burmester premium sound system, Multi-color ambient lightning, ventilated seats, cabin fragrance system, heads up display, electronic trunk closer, cross wind assist, ....(I think I got everything)
All of these upgrades were not available on C-class on previous models. With this said, it is safe to ask a question; Is C-class competitor to E-class ? And my answer is; Yes, to the extent. Never before C-class offered so much as it does for 2015 model year. I don't mean just in terms of technology, but in terms of style, refinement, and materials used for the vehicle. Feeling of quality dominates when you enter the C-class. All butons are soft and quiet, sharpness of 8.4" infotainment screen is sharp as your ultra-high definition TV, and stitching on leather really gives you the feeling of "the best or nothing.
First part of the model year, C-class comes in 4matic version only (4matic = all-wheel-drive), both C-300 and C-400 biturbo 6 cylinder with 329 hp - 354 lb-ft torque. Rear wheel drives will come in early part of 2015
C-400 4matic has higher starting price of $48,590 + $925 destination, vs. $40,400 + $925 destination on C-300 4matic. Higher price reflect standard Premium package ($2,700) and sport package ($2,175)
By no means you should take 2015 C-class as a new kid on a block, becuase it is not, but rather as a person that you used to know and after a few years you met them again. This time you are pleasently surprised how much better they look, how much smarter they are, stronger, faster......

In door showroom-inventory at 75F
One of my favorite things about this new location is that almost all of our inventory, about 80%, is INSIDE where temperature is around 75F. Air conditioned vehicle inventory adds new level of luxury to car shoppers.
For those unfamiliar with Phoenix-Scottsdale Az, average summer temprature is 104F or 41 Celsius.

2014 C-class
Mercedes-Benz C-class has probably one of the toughest jobs among its siblings in Mercedes-Benz family. It is charged with impressing the largest crowd of Mercedes-Benz buyers with price including delivery charge, starting at $36,725 (MSRP) and going to neighborhood of $100,000. It is easier job to impress people with cars that start with $95,325 (MSRP / S-class)
The level of standard equipment for C-class is constantly changing, and adding more critical features to its buyers with every new model year. Attention assist, Mbrace 2, USB interface, Bluetooth audio streaming, rain sensing wipers,Integrated garage door opener, Adaptive break with HOLD function, split folding rear seats, TPMS for each wheel…etc) The Mercedes-Benz C-class has 9 airbags with 11 way protection as standard equipment . To very critical buyers, this fact alone earns high mark. MB, as a manufacturer, is famous for its dedication to safety and accident avoidance with two systems that come standard and are adopted by almost all auto manufacturers; ESP (electronic stability program) and BAS (Break Assist System) Additional safety equipment ( Driver Assistance Package, Lane tracking Package) are available as optional equipment. Please keep in mind that body of C-class is made from 70% high strength and ultra-high-strength steel. Its development regimen included more than 5,500 computer simulated collisions, with nearly 2 million elements, plus an extensive series of actual crash tests. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave it; Superior rating, and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave it 5 star overall rating on its recent testing for 2013 Model Year.
Besides its world class safety ratings, the C-class offers you the choice of two distinct styles, as well as sedan or coupe versions. The sedan offers Sport or Luxury styling, while coupes offer only sport. Luxury styling is easily recognized with the three pointed star integrated on the hood of the vehicle, and sport styling has oversized star integrated in the front grill, and it is accompanied with few other elements. When you have decided on the styling of the vehicle, MB offers you choices of;
C-250 4 cylinder turbocharged engine with 201hp & 229 lb-ft torque, coupe and sedan
C-300 4 matic sedan with 248hp & 251 lb-ft torque, sedan only
C-350 with 302hp & 273 lb-ft torque, coupe and sedan
C-63 AMG with 451hp & 443 lb-ft torque, coupe and sedan, also available is the 507 edition wich boasts 507hp & 450 lb-ft torque.
All this should be considered an introduction to 2014 C-250 because most of it’s optional features require demonstration. Their usefulness would be wasted by describing them here, and you trying to imagine how they operate and the benefit they provide.Here is the link for Mercedes-Benz webiste where you can explore the options.
Drive kit plus for the Iphone; it seamlessly integrates a variety of social, navigation, and media apps including Facebook, Twitter, Google places (available from parts department for $599 + installation $80)
Mbrace 2; connects your C-class, your smartphone, your computer. Offers variety of safety, security, and convenience features like call for assistance in case of collision, remote lock and unlock your car from your smart phone, family driver monitoring, in vehicle internet….etc. http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/mbrace

2014 G-63 6x6
This is one of those cars that you read a lot about in the magazines, and then you watch some of the videos, and you really don't expect it to see it "in person". And just then, when you stand in front of it, walk around it, you realize how big this vehicle really is. MASSIVE. I think that nickname "Intimidator" would be very appropriate for this....vehicle. How tall/big this really is; my height is just above six feet, and standing in front of it, I'm noticing that headlights are leveled with my shoulders.
There are few features that would definitely steel your attention when you are looking at this vehicle. Fender flares are made out of carbon fiber, and seem to have the purpose of protecting the vehicle, and it would seem to have complete sense if you ignore the fact they are out of carbon fiber. Second detail is the wood made bed. I have to stay that I was surprised by use of wood in the bed of this monster. On the inside, you would be amazed how much space passengers in the rear have. On the second thought, if you don’t get enough space, in the vehicle this big……..right? Almost forgot, you can control the pressure in your tires from inside of the vehicle.....yup..........I know.
Since I don’t know much more about this vehicle then what I read in the press, I will provide you with enough pictures and links, so hopefully when this vehicle becomes available in US, I would be able to describe it in more details.
